Sebastian Dengler obtained his B.Sc. degree in Management, Philosophy & Economics at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Germany, in 2011. In the same year, he took up graduate studies in the Research Master program in Economics at the CentER Graduate School of Tilburg University obtaining his M.Sc. degree in 2013. Afterwards he joined the Department of Economics at Tilburg University as a Ph.D. student which he concluded with this doctoral thesis “Economic Essays on Privacy, Big Data, and Climate Change” in 2017. Since June 2017 he holds a position as post-doctoral researcher at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT).
